Transition Southampton started in 2008 and has achieved a huge amount in that time. It has been run by a small group of ever-changing individuals, all committed to the goals and values of sustainable living. This year, they find themselves without enough core members to carry on. They need to look at their own sustainability.

All are invited to a meeting to discuss and begin the formation of a Winchester District sustainable food partnership. Seb Mayfield, the organiser, says:

Hampshire Climate Action Network's next six-monthly meeting on Saturday 6 May is open to everyone who is actively working against climate change in their community in Hampshire to share experiences and news, learn from successes and failures, and work together where appropriate.
