As part of our environmental policy, WinACC wants to reduce the environmental impacts of our events by providing materials electronically rather than in paper form.  Speaker presentations made available to us will be posted on our website, normally the day after the event.

Current renewable energy systems are unable to consistently balance supply and demand. Chris Miles, Green Energy Business Leader, will explore how to balance supply and demand in our energy system. In this talk, he will look at questions like:

WinACC's AGM is a great way to find out what we've been involved in over the past 12 months and our plans for the year ahead. Elections to the board are held at each AGM.

Help build a strong voice for cycling in Winchester city and the surrounding area!

Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council are developing a "movement strategy" which will shape how we get about the City for a generation. 

We need to tell them what they need to do take make it easier to cycle for shopping, work or school.

Burning fossil fuel for transport produces greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. Climate change is causing increasing damage to health. Burning fossil fuel also produces air pollution that is directly harmful to health. We must design our towns and our lives so that we aren't forced to rely on polluting private cars.
