We can all reduce our carbon footprint by daily choices we make about the food we eat, how it is produced and where it is grown. This latest WinACC report about transporting fresh food (fruit, vegetables and salads) shows that eating seasonal food is a better guide to reducing your carbon footprint than buying local food, but it is not quite a simple as we would like!
