The  Built Environment and Transport Action Group aims to influence urban design, and the built environment including transport and movement around Winchester and district in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions both direct and indirect. Contact

A public exhibition showing Winchester City Council's draft plan for central Winchester regeneration, which includes Silver Hill.

The draft plan is also available on the council's website.

Note this is event is organised by Winchester City Council, not WinACC.


WinACC replied to the House of Commons four Select Committees' consultation on air quality to say that the consultation paper set out the seriousness and urgency of the problem very clearly, but failed to set measures and a timetable to act.

Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council are developing a "movement strategy" which will shape how we get about the City for a generation. 

Bespoke Biking has its own home for the Winchester Bike Hub.  They are opening their own shop and workshop in the lower car parking level of The Brooks Centre from mid September 2017. They will offer cycle training, bike repairs and bike hire all from the Brooks.
