Hampshire Climate Action aims to share good practice and ideas among people engaged in climate change in their community in the geographical area of Hampshire. In March 2014, it drew up a statement of how it operates.

At a well-attended meeting on 30 April 2016, climate change activists from the Andover, Basingstoke, the New Forest, Southampton, Winchester and elsewhere swapped news and ideas about:

Meeting topics included the wide range of actions connected to the Paris Climate Conference, potential action to influence the Hampshire County Council Pension Scheme, and talking to the Chief Executive of the County Council to talk to HCAN and devolution.

Hampshire Climate Action Network's next six-monthly meeting on Saturday 6 May is open to everyone who is actively working against climate change in their community in Hampshire to share experiences and news, learn from successes and failures, and work together where appropriate.
