People all over Hampshire will be making their voices heard on the weekend of 28 and 29 November to keep global warming below 2 degrees C.

WinACC asks you to write to your MP ( Steve Brine or George Hollingbery) about the Government's actions on climate change and  the coming Paris global climate conference.

Ony write to your own MP, and ensure that your address is on the letter. MPs only take notice of their own constituents.

Government proposals for very large cuts to the feed-in tariff which supports solar and other small scale renewable energy have been widely criticised. The plans to slash support for solar would leave companies high and dry and cause an extra 1.6 million tonnes of carbon to be pumped into the atmosphere. Take action now.

UK homes are among the worst insulated in western Europe. As a result we waste huge amounts of energy and many people suffer in cold homes.

The Government has launched a massive attack on support for solar panels and wind power, and scrapped Green Deal measures to makes homes more energy efficient. They have also restricted the power of local government to require new homes to be low carbon.
