Volunteer

We often need people to do just one thing, from distributing our posters to helping at a stall to making refreshments at a meeting. We have regular opportunities too. See our volunteering page, or ring 01962 827083.

Come to an open meeting

Find out what's going on, get practical information to help you reduce your carbon footprint, join in the debates, influence politicians and plan future activities.

Our meetings are:

some Saturday mornings at St Lawrence Parish Room, Colebrook St. Winchester. 10.30-12.00 (10.00 for refreshments and socialising).

some Tuesday evenings at St Peter's Parochial Centre, Jewry St, Winchester 7.30 - 9.15 (7.15 for refreshments and socialising).

All our events are listed in our calendar where you can check dates and topics.

Take action in a WinACC Action Group

WinACC Action Groups focus on the most important topics for climate change -  the Built Environment and Transport, Renewable Energy, Food, Waste, and Science and Technology.  Each group meets about once a month and members are active in between meetings. WinACC's Action Groups welcome new people.

Try our Cool Communities programme

If you want to share ideas and get mutual support with a short, practical programme to cut your carbon footprint with friends, ring 01962 827083 or email coolcommunities@winacc.org.uk.

Organise or help at an event

WinACC is always on the lookout for volunteers who are willing to help at events, whether it's to make the tea, put out the chairs, or organise the whole event! ring Jeremy Carter on 01962 827083 or contact us.

Make a donation

We have lots of ideas about how to cut Winchester district's carbon footprint, but what we can do depends on how much money and time we have. If you can help us do more by making a one-off or regular donation, please visit our donations page to find out how.

Ask us - there are plenty of other practical things you can do.
